The Villa and its history
Your boutique hotel near the lake
The history of Villa Clementina began after the war, when the famous painter of the Roman school Renzo Vespignani created the Villa to paint in a place of great inspiration. Over the years the large studio (now the SPA), the main villa and the rooms for illustrious guests were built.
In 2000 the renovation took place by a pupil of the Maestro, Dimitri, who frescoed all the rooms and was inspired by the warm hospitality of the artistic circle. The rooms are now cared for in every detail and art can be breathed everywhere.
The Hotel, a stone's throw from the lake, is surrounded by a botanical park. In this atmosphere you will be pampered and surrounded by both the lush nature and the attentions of the attentive and professional staff, a true experience of the senses ...
Mentioned in the Michelin Red Guide for its charm, Villa Clementina is a true place of art and relaxation: in fact the owner-painter has painted many rooms, designed and created the furniture in every detail, giving the hotel a unique charm. It is equipped with an outdoor "Thalasso" swimming pool and a tennis court, a unique "SPA" ... and other surprises in a 2-hectare botanical garden.
The charming 4-star hotel with rooms and suites is immersed in the Bracciano park, 100 meters from the lake, near the famous medieval castle, in the heart of Etruscan Lazio, a few KM from Rome and the Fiumicino airport.
A wonderful relax : The Thalasso swimming pool ( open from half May to September)
In the luxuriant garden there is our "Thalasso-Sabatina" swimming pool, 15 meters, unique for the roman-mosaic decoration and the saline water, coming from a spring at 80 mt deep.
The romans were the first to appreciate the high quality of our lake's springs and in our pool you can have a healty "bath in history".
In a nice pretty Art studio there is our SPA, and close a tennis-court , a biliard table, and bowls-court where you can spend a nice time…..
Villa Clementina can satisfy different kind of characters: from whom wants to laze near the swimming pool under the trees' branches and let himself massage from the warm jacuzzi, to whom wants to keep in good shape with a nice match of tennis, bowls, and, after dinner, at the biliard table.
